Amir was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California, to first-generation immigrant parents from Iran. He moved to Berkeley in 2018 and earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University in 2020. Amir pursued his legal education at Golden Gate University School of Law, where he met his wife and graduated in July 2024.  In September 2024, Amir joined Barr & Douds Attorneys as a law clerk.  After passing the California Bar Exam in December 2024, Amir continued his legal career with a focus on trust and estate litigation. 

Before entering the legal profession, Amir worked in customer service, where he honed his interpersonal skills and developed a deep appreciation for clear communication and client-focused problem-solving. Amir enjoys connecting with clients on a personal level, ensuring that their concerns are heard and addressed with care and precision.

During law school, Amir gained valuable experience serving as a teaching assistant and a judicial extern at the Contra Costa Superior Court. His academic accomplishments reflect his dedication to excellence, including multiple CALI Awards and specialization certificates in Family Law and Public Interest Law.

When he isn’t working, Amir enjoys spending time with his family, reading historical texts, watching documentaries, and biking along the scenic Bay Area coastline.
