Nick was born and raised in Danville, California and graduated from San Ramon Valley High School. He attended law school at the University of Iowa College of Law. While living in Iowa, he met his wife and began practicing law in Ottumwa, Iowa. After nearly a decade in Iowa, Nick moved back home with his wife and son to Danville where he now lives.
Nick has experience in all stages of litigation and has successfully tried many civil cases, including 19 jury trials. Prior to working at Barr & Douds, Nick was a partner at two prominent insurance defense firms. He is licensed to practice law in Iowa and California. Â
In his free time, Nick enjoys hiking along local trails and spending time with his friends and family.
