Joe Morrill
Joe’s practice specializes in estate litigation, will contests, elder abuse, conservatorships, and business litigation. Joe has represented plaintiffs and defendants including beneficiaries, trustees, conservators, private professional fiduciaries, nursing homes, and elders, in all aspects of litigation, including both bench and jury trials. Joe is a board member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association Elder Law Section and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley and the East Bay Trusts and Estates Lawyers.
Joe was raised in Mokelumne Hill, California, a small town located in the foothills of Calaveras County. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara and then attended Santa Clara University School of Law. After law school, Joe practiced civil litigation at the San Jose office of Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley prior to joining Edward and Loren Barr in forming Barr & Barr Attorneys. Joe lives in Martinez with his wife and four children.
