Andrew Verriere
Andy’s practice is focused on civil litigation, particularly financial elder abuse and elder fraud, as well as trust and estate litigation and estate planning. He is experienced in both State Court and Federal Court, including a recent bench trial in the Northern District of California. Andy also participates in numerous mediations involving estate and trust disputes, and allegations of financial elder abuse. Andy is well versed in all aspects of discovery, and takes an aggressive approach to litigation, ensuring that his clients are best situated for mediation, arbitration, or trial.
Andy grew up in the Marin County community of Kentfield. He graduated with high honors in History from the University of California, San Diego and from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining Barr & Barr Attorneys, Andy worked for the San Francisco office of Jones Day, focusing on complex civil litigation and products liability. He also externed for the Honorable Richard Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Andy lives in Walnut Creek with his wife.
